The 2022 Asia Fruit Logistica held in Bangkok in November saw a record amount of trade visitors which were close to 10 000 from over 70 countries. After a 3 year break, Asia Fruit Logistica was back in full swing. Some new trends and insights were shared at the show and there was a strong focus on innovation in the industry.
For us it was a chance ot meet our existing customers, establish new contacts and spend time with our stakeholders, customers and colleagues from Asia. We also introduced our customers to our new and exciting stone fruit varietals which will be coming into production later this year. This generated much excitement, and we are busy with new product development around these exciting varietals.
Whilst in Bangkok, we hosted a special dinner for our stakeholders and partners to celebrate our 25-year business milestone (pictured below right). This was a fantastic evening where we got to award our long-term business partners with special 25-year supplier certificates and spend quality time with them after a relatively long absence due to Covid.
Whilst in Asia we also visited a few other countries including Vietnam (pictured above and below left), Indonesia and Malaysia.
Quality South African fruit remains top of mind with our customers and we look forward to the next Fruit Logistica!
